Political Science 14: International Relations

Introduction to the principles and practices of international politics, emphasizing problems of war and peace, foreign policies of major powers, problems of developing countries, and global problems. Emphasis placed upon the formulation and execution of American foreign policy within a constitutional and political framework. The dynamics of interstate relations, diplomacy, international law, non-state actors and supra-national organizations will be emphasized.
